Stan Lee has found a new home for his superheroes: Plotagon.
The comicbook icon has inked a deal with the Swedish startup that will enable fans to produce short animated movies using four new characters Lee will create for the company through his Pow! Entertainment banner.
“I have had great fun creating all my characters, and have really enjoyed seeing my fans creating their own stories,” Lee said. “Now, through this collaboration with Plotagon, they can create their own superhero movies.”
Launched in August, Plotagon enables users to create short animated movies from a screenplay that’s written on the platform and using a base set of five characters and six settings. Finished films can be exported to Plotagon’s movie site or shared across various platforms, including YouTube.
