It looks like Instagram had quite a scare on Saturday, July First, when an electrical storm reportedly was interfering with how the photo sharing service had been operating for several hours. Instagram was able to send a communications report over to the publicly owned companies official Facebook Fan Page to assure the public everything would be taken care of by some of the Engineers at Instagram.
The photo sharing application, Instagram, currently owned by Facebook turned out to be the most searched term according to Google on Saturday. People stretching from the the United States to the United Kingdom were desperately searching for the reason why their favorite iPhone and Android application was no longer running at full efficiency.
Pinterest and Netflix were two companies also turned off by the storm according to a report from PCMAg. All three services seem to be working fine now, however, users are urged to contact the support team if they continue to experience problems.
