Social Networking Meet Google – Google Meet Social Networking

Meebo, the popular way to chat online, has been bought out by Google Inc. as a way to amplify what Google lacks; being a strong and forever lasting social media presence. Yes, Google Plus is a popular platform and studies show it will continue to grow in popularity over the next few years to come however ‘Google Plus’ is still no Facebook as we all are well aware.

“We are happy to announce that Meebo has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Google!” Meebo wrote in a blog post “For more than seven years we’ve been helping publishers find deeper relationships with their users and to make their sites more social and engaging. Together with Google, we’re super jazzed to roll up our sleeves and get cracking on even bigger and better ways to help users and website owners alike.”

Meebo has accumulated seventy million dollars in the seven years of business the company has conducted. Google is rumored to pay a somewhat surprising one hundred million dollars for the online messaging organization.
