Pinterest Shows No Sign Of Slowing Down

Pinterest is more than just a fad. This new social networking pin board has caught on quickly with the general public.

The network currently drives more traffic than Twitter, YouTube and Google plus combined. We expected Pinterest to beat out Twitter and YouTube simply based on the two networks longevity of existence. However, for the new network to beat out a big time player like Google Plus is truly amazing.

Pinterst has grown more than one percent in referral traffic in a single month back in December of two thousand and eleven. In January Google Plus referral traffic dropped somewhat, but of course Google thinks this is nothing to cause alarm.

Although MySpace does still exist, not much is happening. The staggering social network we all fell in love with has yet to see any growth in the past month.

Social Analytics platform Bazaar Vocie has bought out a privately owned social commerce competitor, Power Reviews, for just under one hundred and fifty two million dollars. The aquasition will be split into roughly thirty one million dollars in cash and the rest will be paid in over six million shares of stock.
