The Apple iPhone Competes With Android Consumers

In the final stretch of last year, the Apple iPhone was predicted to sell over thirty million times worldwide. Did they meet their quota? Brian Marshall of International Design and Investment Group believes Apple will record sales of over five million macs, fourteen million iPads and a notable thirty two million iPads.

In 2011 the Apple iPhone saw their sales peak by seventy seven percent. The Android smartphone devices saw a dramatic fifteen percent down turn in sales from October 2011 through December.

A large majority of smartphone users decided to buy an iPhone4 4s over any other Android smartphone device. The Apple iPhone4 4s has had a notable impact on how we use smartphone devices and which smartphone we prefer.

Apple still falls short to Google in the battle for total smartphone supremacy. Thirty percent of all smartphone devices have continued to run IOS during late last year.

Yet still the Microsoft Windows Phone Seven had a share of a little over one percent to bring in the new year and has yet to make itself noticeable as a worthy competitor.
